Communaut\u00e9 litt\u00e9raire internationale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce po\u00e8te, essayiste et professeur d'universit\u00e9 v\u00e9n\u00e9zu\u00e9lien. Il faisait partie du groupe \u00ab Tabla Redonda \u00bb d'Am\u00e9rique latine au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1960. En 1985, il a re\u00e7u le Prix national de litt\u00e9rature du Venezuela et en 2009 le Prix FIL de litt\u00e9rature en langues romanes, \u00e0 Guadalajara, au Mexique, entre autres.
